Costello, currently national fleet manager at Cupra and SEAT UK, will replace Peter Horton who leaves Renault after 13 years with the business.

Horton announced his departure this week on LinkedIn, saying: “After an incredible 13-year journey with Renault & Dacia the time has come for me to say goodbye and embark on a new chapter. This decision was not easy, and it’s filled with a mix of emotions – gratitude, nostalgia, pride at what I’ve achieved and a healthy dose of excitement for what lies ahead.”

Horton’s new role outside of Renault Group is yet to be announced.

Costello has over 20 years’ automotive experience. He started his career at Helphire Group in 2002 before moving to ALD Automotive in 2009 as fleet management analyst and then to Manheim as sales planning manager in 2010.
