Billed as ‘the most dynamically capable, performance-focused sports car that Jaguar has ever produced’, the F-Type Coupé is available in three versions – F-TYPE R, F-TYPE S and the F-TYPE – to complement the Convertible line-up.

Like the Convertible, the F-TYPE S Coupé and F-TYPE Coupé are powered by Jaguar’s 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engines in 375bhp and 335 forms respectively, giving 0-60mph times of 4.8 and 5.1 seconds and top speeds of 171 and 161mph.

However, the range-topping F-TYPE R Coupé ditches the cabrio’s 488bhp V8 S, instead gaining a 542bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, giving a 0- 60mph time of 4.0 seconds, and an electronically limited top speed of 186mph.

All engines drive the rear wheels through an eight-speed “Quickshift” transmission with full manual sequential control via steering wheel-mounted paddles or the central SportShift lever.

The F-TYPE R Coupé also features Jaguar’s second-generation Electronic Active Differential which works in parallel with a new Torque Vectoring by braking system to enhance handling. R and F-TYPE S Coupé models also have the option of Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes which offer improved fade resistance and result in a total unsprung weight saving of 21kg.

The F-TYPE Coupé also offers up to 407-litres of boot space – enough for two sets of golf clubs, according to Jaguar – along with the option of power-assisted opening for the tailgate.

‘The F-TYPE Coupé provides its driver with a unique sports car experience. It combines seductive design with cutting-edge technology and performance which is truly breathtaking. Engaging, precise, intuitive and alive – it is the definitive sports Coupé,’ said Phil Popham, group marketing director, Jaguar Land Rover

Pricing for the F-TYPE Coupé starts at £51,235 OTR while the F-TYPE S Coupé starts from £60,235 and the F-TYPE R Coupé is priced at £85,000.
