Holman grows operations team to support new contract wins

Holman has expanded its operations team with new senior appointments to support its recent BT Group contract win and other latest deals.

Paul Probert, operations director at Holman

Paul Probert becomes operations director, bringing extensive experience in the distribution and logistics sectors, most recently with Ryder. He’s joined by former Novuna fleet services manager Dominic Hutchinson as head of operations, based at Holman’s Chippenham headquarters.

Meanwhile, Iain Palmer becomes head of operations at the company’s new Birmingham office and brings a 15-year background at Ryder, and Gemma Towers assumes the role of operations manager, drawing on her experience as customer service manager – driver management at Zenith Vehicle Contracts.

The appointments support a raft of new business contracts through multiple deals. These include the recently awarded BT Group contract, which will see Holman provide a wide range of fleet services – the initial seven-year deal spans service, maintenance and repair, portfolio management, glass replacement, and pool vehicle/rental management across some 37,000 commercial vehicles.

Nick Caller, Holman UK managing director, said: “During this transformative period for our business, these appointments serve as a clear demonstration of our unwavering dedication to our customers.

“I have full confidence that as we attract even more new customers, their contributions will have a significant impact, guaranteeing the consistent delivery of excellent customer service to all of our clients, regardless of the number of vehicles they operate.”
