New electric car brand GWM Ora has announced business and personal leasing rates for its Ora Funky Cat First Edition.

The inaugural UK model from the all-electric Chinese carmaker, the electric family hatchback is available for £199 a month to business customers or £239 for those on a personal contract hire deal.

The new lease rate applies to orders placed by 31 July 2023 – and the brand says it has stock available for delivery in as little as one week.

The Ora Funky Cat First Edition comes with features including 360 cameras, electric front seats, internet radio and intelligent voice assistant.

Toby Marshall, managing director at GWM Ora UK, said: “These new leasing rates will ensure that the Ora Funky Cat is one of the most financially accessible BEVs in the market to both retail and business leasing customers.

“As a new brand, our strategy in the short term is focused on creating greater awareness and visibility of our products across the UK. These attractive new leasing rates will go some way to helping us achieve that.”

The leasing rates are provided by GWM Ora UK Leasing and will be available via its fast-growing network of dealers. The contracts are based on an initial payment plus an annual allowance of 5,000 miles for a 48-month term and including charges for non-maintained and excess mileage.
