The iV-4 – of which “i” stands for “individuality”, “V” for “vehicle”, and “4” for “4 wheel-drive” – features the carmaker’s trademark SUV clamshell hood and five-slotted front grille but adds detailing such as heavily sculpted lines and a fog light with built-in laser sensor on the roof. It also taps into the trend for vehicle personalisation, with a choice of exterior parts, colour and texture to be offered.

The compact SUV measures 4,215mm long by 1,850 wide with Suzuki adding that the production model will offer 4×4 capabilities in the form of the ALLGRIP system along with class-leading CO2 emissions.

The carmaker said it will start launching the production model, based on this iV-4 concept model, at Magyar Suzuki in 2015 and will be releasing it in Europe.
