FMG Repair Services has opened the doors to a new accident repair centre, located just off the M4 in Bristol.

The new centre is in a prime location just off the M4 in Bristol

The new site showcases the company’s continued investment to grow its accident repair portfolio. It’s equipped with the latest equipment and technology to repair all vehicle types, including EVs, hybrids and LCVs. It features 36 repair bays, with specialist ramps for commercial vehicle repairs, dedicated aluminium repair bays and plastic repair capability.

The 22,000 sq. ft. site replaces the previous Bristol facility, delivering additional capacity and capability for vehicle repair. The established team of ATA-qualified technicians operate the latest repair equipment and technology and are joined by a number of new technicians following a recruitment programme for the larger site.

Paul Wrigglesworth, operations director at FMG Repair Services, said: “As the vehicle repair sector continues to evolve, it’s exciting to move forward in tandem, launching another smart new facility to meet the challenges of the local market and better serve the current and future needs of our customer base.

“This new Bristol site has been proactively designed with the latest technology and greater capacity for the repair of alternative fuelled vehicles, composite body materials and driver safety systems, whilst being a bright, airy and pristine environment for our colleagues to work in.

“The year ahead looks bright and our continued investment in our sites marks our clear commitment to the future of sustainable vehicle repair and the best possible customer experience. We are delighted to welcome new and existing customers to our new Bristol site.”

FMG also recently opened a brand-new purpose-built site in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, which went live in October 2023. Its wider growth plans include investment and upgrade works for the existing estate, as well as purpose-developed sites in new locations. The business employs over 1,500 colleagues UK-wide, with the capability to repair in excess of 100,000 vehicles per annum.
