Flushed with pride: Extra MSA snags prestigious Loo of the Year award

Extra MSA has secured its spot as number one for toilet cleanliness in the ‘washroom oscars’.

The award recognises Extra MSA’s dedication in keeping its facilities in great shape

The motorway services operator was recently presented with the Loo of the Year Champions League – Standards of Excellence Award, presented to organisations winning five or more five-star awards, in recognition of them consistently maintaining a high standard of toilet management.

Extra MSA operates eight locations across the UK – and prides itself on going the extra mile to deliver great experiences for its visitors.

The operator’s ‘porcelain estate’ was subject to unannounced visits and assessed against 101 judging criteria, including signage and décor, overall standards of cleanliness, and accessibility and customer care.

Thousands of toilets across the UK are Ireland are scrutinised annually as part of these industry-leading awards.

The accolade follows Extra’s recent award as Britain’s number one motorway service operator, ranking top of the table for customer satisfaction with its toilets.
