Fleets increasingly recognising benefits of asset tracking

So says fleet monitoring specialist Motrak, which says it’s planning for significant growth on the back of record demand.

Paul Holdcroft, head of Motrak, said: “Demand for our telematics system has taken off in the last year or so and we’re keen to build on that progress.

“Our units are now reporting live on more than 3,000 vehicles and, though that’s a significant milestone, we have the capacity and ambition to set much bigger targets.

“We’re keen to see further substantial growth by developing our client base and expanding the range of services we provide for existing customers.”

He added: “More and more companies are recognising the benefits of asset-tracking devices.

“User-friendly software like ours enables them to see at a glance where improvements in efficiency can be made.

“It contains powerful tools which reduce costs, mitigate risk and increase productivity – and that can add up to significant savings for fleets of all sizes.”

Motrak will launch a new product that combines telematics with CCTV technology before the end of the year.

Holdcroft said: “It’s an idea that’s still quite new to the market, but we know from talking to our existing customers that there’s a strong demand for it.

“It will be a sophisticated solution that will create huge benefits and significant savings for all types of business and I’m confident it will help us to achieve our growth targets.”
