FleetCheck adds new places to partner programme

FleetCheck is making new places available to businesses that would like to join its 30-company strong partner programme.

The fleet management software specialist is seeking partners in several areas, including external fleet management providers and vehicle leasing and finance brokers, due to growth in its customer base and structural change in the sector.

Peter Golding, managing director, said: “Our partner programme was created in the earliest days of FleetCheck and has become a key part of our activity. In some cases, partnerships are as simple as offering each other’s products and services to our respective customers with favourable pricing, terms and conditions.

“However, in others, we may look to share expertise and capabilities to the benefit of both businesses involved and their customers. Knowledge and data can be every bit as important as direct financial benefits.”

Golding explained that the business tended to make a limited number of places available every year, using a selective approach to who comes on board.

“A lot of emphasis is placed on building productive relationships, ensuring our partners are active and engaged, that they attend an induction and work closely with us to ensure that our approaches harmonise. Becoming a FleetCheck partner is a genuine commitment.”

The nature of the partner programme is also changing, according to Golding; the result of FleetCheck’s customer base having grown at a rate of more than 50% per year over the past two years with a client retention rate of almost 99%.

“We’re in a position where we have a much larger client base with a wider range of needs while, at the same time, the fleet industry is undergoing substantial change in areas such as electrification while dealing with the ongoing fallout of the pandemic.

“That means that there are now some types of expertise that we would like to add to the partner programme such as organisations helping companies manage risk, vehicle procurement and budgeting, and duty of care. We would be very pleased to hear from companies involved in these areas and explore how we could work together.”

Existing partnerships include telematics service providers, trade associations, voluntary accreditation schemes, external fleet management providers, vehicle brokers, insurance brokers, driver training companies, external transport managers, risk management consultant, and transport consultants.
