The event, which takes place on 24th April at Silverstone, will offer the most comprehensive programme ever, with more than 200 new cars to drive, double the number last year, and with more than three times the track space, plus an informative seminar programme, mobility workshops and driver of the year finals.

A total of 21 vehicle manufacturers will be bringing along test cars to the event, with Citroen having already confirmed that the DS3 Cabrio and Electric Berlingo will be present. Meanwhile Audi will be bringing the A3 Sportback in 150PS 2.0 TDI SE and Sport models as well as the A4 in Avant and Saloon guise, as well as the A6 and A6 Avant and the A5 Sportback. Vauxhall’s Mokka and ADAM will also be part of the line-up.

Fleet decision-makers will be able to test drive cars on public roads in the immediate area and on both the Grand Prix and Stowe racing circuits, along with “hot laps” in the company of qualified racing drivers.

In addition to driving, the Fleet World Fleet Show will offer many other features for fleet decision-makers to justify taking a day out of the office.

These include a full programme of fleet seminars, sponsored by ARI Fleet UK, with leading fleet industry speakers addressing key fleet issues, including electric vehicles and fuel cell technology.

There will also be a “Question Time” style panel discussion, sponsored by Venson Automotive Solutions, and an interactive fleet and mobility workshop sponsored by Alphabet.

The extensive Silverstone Wing indoor exhibition area will again play host to a number of leading fleet service suppliers and providers. But such has been the interest in this year’s Show that the available area is now double the size of the 2012 event.

Leading contract hire and leasing specialists including Lex Autolease, ALD Automotive, Alphabet, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, Leasedrive and Venson will be on hand to discuss the latest funding and finance issues with fleet executives, along with suppliers from various different sectors of the fleet industry.

At the same time, the final of the Fleet Driver of the Year competition, organised by ALD Automotive in conjunction with Peak Performance and Toyota & Lexus Fleet Services, will be held live at the Show.

Show organiser and managing editor of Fleet World, Ross Durkin, said: ‘With a full itinerary, this year’s Fleet World Fleet Show offers a wide number of benefits to fleet decision-makers to take a day out of their busy schedules.

'However, we’re seeing some very high interest in attending and would urge prospective visitors to sign up to this year’s event as soon as possible.’
