Fleet World Fleet Show: Cenex to present Low-carbon Development Seminar

By / 11 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The event, which takes place on Wednesday 24th April at Silverstone, will see Cenex programme and communications manager Rob Anderson conduct a presentation on Low-carbon Developments and join a panel of other industry experts for a question time-style debate on a range of fleet topics.

An experienced fleet and automotive programme and communications manager, Anderson will explain some of the latest low-carbon developments Cenex is currently testing, and how they impact on fleets.

His presentation aims to discuss the perceived barriers and risks around the use of Electric Vehicles (EVs) based on the evidence generated through a range of Cenex managed in-fleet trials. He will also discuss practical tips for increasing EV vehicle range and give an overview of the potential economic and emissions savings that can be achieved.

Finally, Anderson will discuss the issue of the grid and its long term decarbonisation.

Later in the day, Anderson will join industry experts in a panel discussion, where fleet decision makers can discuss topics presented earlier in the day. Experts on the panel include financial expert David Rawlings, Mark Cartwright from the FTA and Alan McCleave from Venson.

Speaking about the event, Robert Evans, CEO of Cenex, said: ‘Delegates of this seminar will gain valuable knowledge and practical tools that will hopefully allay concerns regarding the uptake of EVs in appropriate fleet applications.’
