Fleet World Fleet: SEAT Tarraco 2.0 TDI 190 Xcellence
Natalie Middleton tries some of the gadgets onboard the Tarraco.

Our long-term Tarraco
Dubbed ‘The Indulgent One’ in the Tarraco brochure, our mid-spec Excellence trim really does come with a wealth of kit that we’re still working our way through. Thanks to the recent cold snap, the fast-acting heated seats, which along with other heating and ventilation controls are quick to access via the buttons under the infotainment touch-screen, have suddenly been pressed into service.
A play with the park assist while reversing also revealed a number of different options on the rear view camera, including bird’s-eye, front and rear view and one display obstacles; the combination with reversing sensors remains a bonus.
I’m struggling with using the park assist itself as it’s not displaying the option to switch between parking space types where expected. But the Amazon Alexa-powered voice command system works well with just a few hiccups.
