From its 2.5-acre yard in Cinderford, the company operates a parts recycling service called My Green Fleet, which can supply pre-owned parts nationwide, overnight.

My Green Fleet has recently received a two-year contract renewal with 40 Police forces, and counts national utility companies and blue chip fleets among its clients, all of which use the service to reduce repair costs and vehicle downtime.

The latest investment will cover new transport to improve its next-day delivery service, as well as upgrades to its storage, yard and fixtures in Cinderford.

Jason Cross, managing director of FAB Recycling Group, says: ‘FAB Recycling is part of a green movement to change perceptions of the industry and save motorists money.  Our clients are the man in the street, blue chip fleet companies right up to the multi-national insurance companies. All demand a level of service that we need to continue to invest in.

‘Recycling traceable vehicle parts keeps down repair costs, the amount of time a vehicle is out of action, as well as ensuring badly damaged vehicles are responsibly, securely and environmentally disposed of.’
