Fiat announces prices for 600e electric crossover

Fiat has confirmed UK pricing and specs for its 600e electric crossover, which opens for orders in October.

Order books for the 600e will open in October, with the first deliveries expected in Q1 2024

Priced from £32,995, it brings a larger sibling to the Fiat 500e city car and will rival electric crossovers such as the Kia Niro EV as well as family hatches such as the Volkswagen ID.3.

It’s based on the same e-CMP underpinnings as Stellantis models including the Jeep Avenger while its powertrain is also familiar from other family group models. This teams up a 156hp motor with a 54kWh battery that gives some 250 miles of range on the WLTP combined cycle and up to 375 miles in the urban cycle.

It comes with an 11kW onboard charger and can accommodate 100kW DC fast charging, taking less than half an hour to go from 20% to 80%.

The 600e will be five-door only and comes with 360 litres of boot capacity.

Two trim levels will be offered in the UK: Red and La Prima. Standard equipment on the Red grade includes automatic zone climate control, automatic LED lights and wipers, rear parking sensors, keyless go, a 7-inch drivers’ display and 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The La Prima trim is priced from £36,995 and includes 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, ivory synthetic leather seats which are heated in the front, integrated navigation, upgraded audio system, six-way electric adjustable driver seat with lumbar adjustment & massage function, front, side and rear parking sensors with 180-degree rear view camera, and wireless charging pad for smartphones. Other upgrades include a hands-free power tailgate, adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection.

Order books in the UK will open in October, with the first customer deliveries expected in Q1 2024.

Fiat has also confirmed the 600 crossover will be offered with a 1.2-litre mild hybrid petrol, due late 2024.
