Drivetech backs Project EDWARD for fifth consecutive year

Drivetech is backing Project EDWARD (Every Day Without a Road Death) again this year, showcasing good practice in road safety.

The 2022 Project EDWARD campaign will focus on the theme of ‘Changing Minds, Changing Behaviour’, sharing good practices from all four UK nations

The 2022 campaign will focus on the theme of ‘Changing Minds, Changing Behaviour’, sharing good practices from all four UK nations to inspire better driving behaviours – including for fleets. It will culminate in a week of action from 19 to 25 September.

It’s the fifth year that Drivetech has participated in the event, which was first launched in 2016 and won a coveted Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in 2018.

The campaign is backed by government, the emergency services, highways agencies, road safety organisations and British businesses. Highlights from last year’s campaign saw the launch of the first UK-wide National Safe Speed Day with police forces UK-wide.

Commenting on Drivetech’s ongoing partnership with the campaign, Colin Paterson, head of marketing, said: “We are continuing to support Project EDWARD for the fifth year in a row for a number of reasons dear to our hearts as a business.

“The spirit and message of every day without a road death is one we wholeheartedly support in our own mission to deliver driver training, both to private motorists and fleets. We’ll certainly be supporting the campaign as much as we can.”
