Driven A to B expands corporate fleet with Vauxhall Insignias

Driven A to B offers airport transfers and one-off city trips as well as journeys to destinations less favourable to London’s Black Cabs, such as late night commuter drives that involve going as far out of London as the Home Counties.

The Insignias join the fleet’s existing Mercedes E-Class, BMW 2 Series and Ford Galaxy models as Driven A to B’s businss expands. The firm currently provides in excess of 3,000 services a month for businesses across London and this is set to grow rapidly following the recent signing of two major contracts.

Mike Bell, chief executive of Driven A to B, said: ‘Extending our fleet with the right quality of vehicle is imperative for us to continue this growth and we’re very pleased with our choice.

‘Not only do the new Insignias look exceptionally smart, in corporate grey and discreet Driven A to B branding on the boot, but they have great environmental credentials. The emission levels are slightly higher than a Toyota Prius but the fuel comparison is considerably better, helping us to manage costs as well as our CSR policy, benefits that we can pass on to our customers.

‘The feedback from drivers and passengers, even at this early stage, has been overwhelmingly positive. Our internal team, drivers and passengers all agree that the interior finish is at the same level as all executive types of cars. It also provides huge amounts of space, with boot space exceeding that of the Mercedes E-Class.’

‘As with all our cars, every Insignia is fitted with a telematics system allowing us to view its whereabouts and speed at any point or time so that we can continue to manage the fleet effectively. Our business has seen 500% growth in just nine months and the Insignias will play an integral role as we look to further expand in the New Year.’
