DMN Logistics’ new flexi-rates to slash up to 10% off vehicle movements

Vehicle movement and inspection firm DMN Logistics has launched a new flexi-rates service that can reduce the cost of vehicle movements by up to 10%.

Nick Chadaway, managing director, DMN Logistics

Introduced to help fleet operators and dealers during the current challenging market conditions, the new flexible service enables businesses to choose the optimum delivery terms with a discounted rate for flexible delivery times.

It’s being run alongside DMN’s core business in date-specific collection and delivery, and will deliver vehicles within three working days from the point of order.

Managing director Nick Chadaway said the new flexi-rates support dealers and fleet operators as they come under growing pressure to deliver a better service in the most cost-effective manner.

“Our flexible rates offer more choice for dealers and fleets,” he explained. “Choosing to have vehicles delivered using this service allows us to maximise the productivity of our resources and so we are looking to pass on these savings to our clients which can be as much as a 10% reduction in the cost of the movement.

“However, if a dealer, for example, purchased a car with a customer in mind to sell to quickly, the dealer can request an earlier delivery and a quicker turnaround to improve their cash flow. Getting vehicles to their destination at the most pivotal time for each business is our main priority.”

Chadaway added that the new flexi-rates were the latest example of the company’s work to help customers through an uncertain economic climate, providing them with an incredibly flexible and bespoke long-term logistics solution.

“The pandemic allowed us to re-examine our own operation and we were able to prune where possible and free up resources for the key areas of focus – such as digitisation and innovation – and invest more to support our key capabilities and value propositions. As a result, we have been able to cut costs to grow stronger.”
