Connected cars and grey fleet drivers under spotlight at Brake conference

Brake has announced the agenda for May’s UK Fleet Safety Conference, which will highlight the importance of prioritising fleet safety, including on areas including driver mental health, sustainable vehicles and the grey fleet.

The conference is being run as part of the Global Fleet Champions campaign

Taking place at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre on Wednesday 22 May 2019, the event will include presentations during the morning on topical issues including effective leadership, prioritising people and recruiting the best drivers. In the afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to choose from a number of breakout sessions delivered by industry experts and academics focusing on risk management, drivers and vehicles (full agenda is here).

The event is being run under the banner of Brake’s new Global Fleet Champions campaign, which launched last month to provide members with free resources to help tackle safety and sustainability, as well as networking and development.

Tickets are available now at an early bird ticket rate of £75+ VAT until 31 March 2019.  From 1 April 2019 tickets will be priced at £95 +VAT.
