CitySprint on the hunt for extra couriers and EV drivers across UK

CitySprint is recruiting new couriers and electric vehicle drivers across the UK to support business growth and logistics demand.

CitySprint is looking for 550 additional couriers across the UK, focusing primarily on those with small and large vans, while also recruiting EV drivers

The same-day distribution company is looking for 550 additional couriers across the UK, focusing primarily on those with small and large vans.

Roles are available throughout the UK, with extra demand in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Reading and Nottingham.

The new couriers will be added to the pool of over 3,500 vans, bikes and cars, and will provide support across all areas of the business, with a focus on the high-growth healthcare sector.

In addition, CitySprint is looking to employ drivers for its electric vehicles as it continues to expand its EV fleet to over 200 between now and the end of 2023.

The call for new couriers comes as the business continues to see significant uplift in logistics demand.

Mark Footman, chief operating officer at CitySprint, said: “As a business, we have enjoyed another year of considerable growth — winning new clients and, most recently, acquiring Manchester-based same-day courier company, EcoSpeed.

“We are committed to providing our 14,000+ clients with the best possible service all year round, which is why we’re bolstering the fleet to ensure we are prepared to face anything that comes our way over the busy summer months. We look forward to welcoming new suppliers on board, to help us deliver on these promises and stay ahead of our competitors.”
