Chevin launches SME fleet software solution

Chevin has launched a new fleet management software package that brings SMEs the benefits of fleet management software but with much lower costs, the firm claims.

Ashley Sowerby, managing director, Chevin

Chevin’s Ashley Sowerby says the new SaaS package is designed to support essential fleet, maintenance and compliance management responsibilities

Also open to larger fleets looking to benefit from a lower price point, the FleetWave CORE solution is a pre-configured version of Chevin’s FleetWave enterprise fleet management software that delivers all the key tools and reports needed for fleet but eliminates the project management and configuration services that are usually included.

As well as cutting costs – Chevin claims a highly competitive price point for FleetWave CORE – the pared-down solution is also ready to use ‘out of the box, bringing much faster deployment times.

As such, the firm says it’s an ideal solution for bridging the gap between using out-of-date legacy systems, spreadsheets and paper-based methods – which have inherent issues – and more scalable enterprise fleet systems that have a high price tag. It can also be extended with a huge range of additional modules, tools, reports and configuration options.

Ashley Sowerby, managing director at Chevin, said: “The biggest barrier for most smaller organisations looking at enterprise fleet software is the initial investment and lengthy delivery times. Developing a pre-configured version of our product that can be instantly deployed but still expanded with additional functionality post-installation has allowed us to offer the benefits of FleetWave to a much wider market.”
