The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has signed up the AA as a partner for company members.

CIOB members will benefit from access to a range of discounted specialised services from the AA

The tie-up will deliver a package of solutions and services, enhancing the overall value proposition for those involved in the construction industry.

Institute members will benefit from exclusive access to a range of discounted specialised services provided by the AA. These include roadside assistance, vehicle recovery and repair services for electric vehicles as well as conventional petrol and diesels.

Construction professionals often find themselves on the move, travelling to project sites and client meetings. The AA’s support will ensure that CIOB company members can navigate unexpected vehicle issues seamlessly, minimising downtime and disruptions to their schedules.

Amanda Pilgrim, associate director – acquisition at the CIOB, said: “The AA’s expertise in automotive safety and technology aligns with the evolving landscape of the construction industry. CIOB company members benefit from access to the latest information on vehicle safety standards, sustainable transportation solutions, and advancements in automotive technology, including electric vehicles. This knowledge empowers construction professionals to make informed decisions regarding their fleet management, ensuring not only the efficiency of their operations but also the safety of their staff.”

Esther Jones, business manager, key accounts at the AA, added: “We pride ourselves on being ‘Always Ahead’ and will be with CIOB members every step of the way, today and tomorrow. Whether it’s roadside recovery, helping with the transition to alternative fuels or getting to grips with new legislation, we’ve got your back.”
