CD Auction Group appoints buyer development manager
CD Auction Group has appointed Paul Barnes to the newly created role of buyer development manager.
The position will see Barnes work across both CD Auction, which remarkets ex-fleet vehicles from corporates, leasing companies and rental companies and CD Salvage Auction, which remarkets total loss salvage, accident damage-repairable, and vehicles with mechanical failure.
Barnes, who brings remarketing experience from within the MoD, CD Bramalls and Pilling Motor Group as well as senior manager roles at Tesco Cars and Copart, will be responsible for increasing the buyer base, developing the business’s customer ethos, keeping registered buyers abreast with new developments, and ensuring application, registration and approval process for new buyers is as smooth as possible.
Andy Brown, managing director of CD Auction Group, said: “Paul brings great knowledge and expertise to the role and has a proven record of success in vehicle remarketing. Covering both CD Auction and CD Salvage, I believe he’ll be able to ensure we develop our buyer base as we grow our vendor base and business volumes offering a great selection of vehicles – both clean and salvage – to our buyer base.
“These are exciting times for us, and our ever-expanding business needs people like Paul to continue our development. This is an important step in delivering the very best service to all our customers.”
