Commenting on the appointment, managing director Julie Summerell said: ‘We are delighted to announce the appointment of John Lewis as non-executive director.

‘John has a wealth of industry experience and has worked with policy makers at the highest level. His particular focus on road safety and accident reduction will be invaluable as we continue to realise our vision to revolutionise current fleet practices and drive better business decisions through our bespoke risk management programme, DriveSecure.’

Lewis added: ‘I look forward to supporting the team at TR Fleet in developing the DriveSecure concept as the future for the risk management of business drivers and the contribution this can make to improving work related road safety.’
