BVRLA webinar to examine true running costs of EVs

The BVRLA has confirmed speakers for its next Fleets in Charge webinar, which will look at the changing affordability of EVs and the impact on business and private customers.

Also open to non-members, the free 60-minute session on ‘Examining the true running costs of EVs’ will take place at 9am on 14 December and will include an expert line-up.

Tim Bush of UBS Investment Bank and Jonathan Clay of Cap HPI will present in the insight session. Tim Bush will look at the global picture of resource pressures, policies and pinch points, examining the impact on EV costs.

Jonathan Clay will present the current TCO picture, looking at how EV prices are changing the landscape when it comes to maintenance costs and the impact of new model entrants.

Dean Hedger of the AA, Ben Edwards of Arval and Natalia Peralta Silverstone of Octopus Electric Vehicles will take part in the panel discussion on how energy prices and the cost-of-living crisis are impacting the uptake of EVs. This will consider the changes among consumers and business customers, how we can ensure continued momentum, and what innovation firms should be thinking about.

It’s open to anyone in the fleet sector, including non-members, and those registering will also receive a copy of the recording afterwards.
