Audi UK joins manufacturer line-up at Silverstone Fleet Show

Audi will join some 20 individual manufacturers’ brands that are represented this year, comprising: Alfa Romeo, BMW, Citroen, DS, Fiat, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia Motors, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, MINI, Peugeot, Renault, Tesla, Toyota, and Volvo.

Between them they will be providing a dazzling array of new models for test driving, with some available for the first time anywhere in the UK, on three circuits of the world-famous Silverstone Grand Prix venue – the National, International and Stowe circuits – plus a road route in the local area.

There will again be a special emphasis on alternative powertrains, including electric and hybrid powered vehicles, which looks set to be a major attraction for fleet decision-makers at a time when fleets are ordering record numbers of EVs.

Show director, Jerry Ramsdale, said: “We are delighted to welcome Audi UK to this year’s Fleet Show at Silverstone on May 11. As such a key player in the mainstream fleet and company car market, it is good to have them there as it provides our fleet decision-makers with yet another important brand to evaluate at this iconic venue.

“And it further extends the reasons for fleet buyers to take a day out of their busy schedules and attend the event. By coming to this year’s Show, visitors will have the chance tp get behind the wheel of some of the very latest new models to hit the fleet market,” he added.

However, the Fleet Show isn’t just about test driving and looks to strike a balance between interactive fleet education, test driving and a contemporary fleet exhibition which features some of the latest developments, products and services in the fleet arena.

On the education front, a new, Question Time-style interactive session will be led by industry experts and will tackle some of the leading fleet topics of the day, as well as addressing concerns from the floor.

The Silverstone Wing will again play host to a wide-ranging fleet exhibition in halls 1-3, boasting a diverse array of exhibitors which will this year feature a number of Fleet Show newcomers, including leading fleet services provider, Kwik-Fit Fleet, and Activa Contracts, a subsidiary of Arnold Clark Automobiles.

Others new to the Fleet Show include fleet management provider, CVM Group; APT Controls, specialists in security, car access control and electric vehicle charging, and telematics and satellite navigation suppliers, NWX Ltd.

They will be joining a host of other leading suppliers who will be demonstrating the latest developments, products and services in the fleet market.

There will also be plenty of opportunity for Show visitors to hold face-to-face meetings and network with exhibitors and other visitors alike.

Last year’s Fleet Show attracted higher numbers of top quality fleet decision-makers than ever before – up 25% on the previous year – and the audience has increased in size every year since the inaugural event in 2011.

This year, the audience will be audited by the Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) for the first time to give a clear and auditable record of the number of fleet decision-makers attending the event.
