Asset procurement director appointment forms part of Northgate growth plans

Goss will be responsible for Northgate’s UK asset procurement strategy and all related purchases across its network of 69 branches.

Goss was previously head of best practice, procurement and asset management for energy giant EON and brings has a wealth of experience in developing, managing and optimising procurement systems.

In his new role he will head up asset-related purchases associated with Northgate’s 55,000-strong fleet of vehicles

Goss said: ‘Northgate’s growth strategy is exciting to say the least. Joining the company at this critical growth period provides me with a unique opportunity to shape the company’s vehicle associated assets. There is obviously a huge challenge accompanying the new role, however I feel my industry experience places me in a strong position to take charge of Northgate’s mission critical product and focus on the management of inbound supply; with a view to support growth, process improvement and the introduction of new technologies.’
