The service will work across all of CAP Automotive’s existing core markets, including vehicle manufacturers (OEM's), regional and national sales companies, retail, finance and leasing companies, government bodies and trade organisations. Products will include special market studies, new-product-to-market reports, portfolio management and risk avoidance advice and bespoke web services to help drive commercial goals.

The service will be headed up by Andrew Fellows who brings senior international experience with automotive brands, including Audi AG and BMW, as well as at leading consultants KPMG, where he held the post of European Automotive Partner.

Additionally, he has experience of developing consultancy services from the ground up, having also operated independently across the European automotive sector, focused on helping automotive and other clients in the fields of production, sales and logistics.

Fellows will lead a team comprising Mark Norman – operational development manager, Stephanie Falconer – international business development manager, Alan Wormall – business development manager, Matt Freeman – CAP Consulting specialist and Michaela Hill – CAP consulting coordinator.

Fellows said: ‘CAP has long provided high-quality consultancy services, but generally on an ad hoc basis, and the opportunity to build on that strong foundation by developing a fully resourced and clearly defined consultancy proposition was too exciting for me to miss.

‘We have an extremely talented team, with unrivalled experience across all the sectors served by CAP, supported by the industry-leading benchmark data assets that already make CAP Automotive the leader in its field.’
