Aldermore drives asset finance focus with new appointment

Aldermore bank has appointed David Hughes as business development manager in its asset finance team.

He brings 26 years of experience in the asset finance and commercial banking environment. Hughes’ career has mainly been spent at Barclays providing structured asset finance solutions to middle and large corporate clients across a range of assets, with a particular specialism in fleet financing solutions.

He joins James Harrowsmith, who was appointed in January 2022, in building out Aldermore’s offering in fleet funding, with financing solutions for both back-to-back and agency lending across a range of wheeled assets. This appointment is another step in driving future growth for the business.
