Alamo Rent a Car expands into United Arab Emirates

By / 7 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The rental giant is to open locations downtown in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and at both Abu Dhabi and Dubai International Airports, with a fleet of more than 4,000 vehicles available and covering vehicle segments from compact minis to 4x4s.

‘We see the UAE as a key region for the development of the Alamo brand,’ said Guy Coghlan, managing director, Middle East, Alamo and National Car Rental. ‘This is both because it is an incredibly important in-bound tourist destination, but also because we know that UAE residents want to be able to access a car rental service that has local knowledge and global reach.

The new operations will be backed up by a dedicated website for Middle East customers – www.alamo-me.com – and a stand-alone Reservations Centre has been established. In addition, UAE residents will be able to use the local call centre and website to make reservations for Alamo rental almost anywhere in the world.

Mr Coghlan continued: ‘The United Arab Emirates is now well and truly established as a holiday destination and we are keen to support travellers who may have already experienced the high quality service and customer care from the Alamo brand in this burgeoning region. We are, therefore, very excited to have opened operations in key locations in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well as creating a dedicated call centre and website.

‘With the local knowledge that is behind Alamo UAE, we can provide both domestic and international holidaymakers with a high quality car rental experience – so that they can get on the road as quickly as possible.’
