AA Business Services (AABS) is showcasing the latest EV additions to its roadside recovery fleet at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2025.

The AA is showcasing the latest EV additions to its roadside recovery fleet
These include a brand-new Farizon SV electric van, wrapped in AA livery, that’s being showcased in the Decarbonisation Hub, in Hall 4.
Meanwhile, the spotlight is on the UK’s first electric recovery truck – the Volvo EV Recovery FE ‘slidebed’ – in the Destination Net Zero Zone, in Hall 5.
And the Iveco e-Daily EV Recovery van with CRT trailer is under the spotlight in the EV Café Decarbonisation Theatre, in Hall 4.
The AA’s recovery fleet is based on a ‘test and scale’ concept that is at the heart of the AA’s commitment to decarbonise its operations without compromising the quality and performance of its roadside services.
Duncan Webb, fleet director at the AA, said: “Always ahead, we have invested in comprehensive and innovative services to support EVs through our fully EV trained roadside patrols, mobile mechanics and garage network. As we expand our pioneering mobile mechanics service in 2025, we will be adding more and more EV vans to our fleet. The Commercial Vehicle Show is a great opportunity to highlight these services and talk to customers about what they want to see from us in the future.”
Alongside the AA’s core roadside operations and technical teams, Drivetech, the AA’s specialist driver training training, will also be present, along with the ‘Mobile Mechanics’ team and the AA’s ‘Connected Car’ experts. Visitors will be able to speak with the AA teams about the wide range of services available to support business fleets, while charge point operators and OEM customers can speak to the AA’s dedicated business managers.
AA president Edmund King, along with fleet director Duncan Webb and commercial group fleet manager Simon Ungless, will take part in talks as part of the EV Café Decarbonisation Theatre and Decarbonisation Hubs.
