Peugeot has updated its 508 and 508 SW range for the 2022 model year, introducing a revised trim line-up, as well as new interior and exterior features.

The revised 508 line-up includes the Peugeot Sport Engineered high-performance models introduced earlier this year, which feature a four-wheel drive plug-in hybrid powertrain with a 12% BiK rate

The revised range is available to order now, priced from £28,215 for the Fastback and £29,815 for the 508 SW.

Trim line-up has been streamlined, based on feedback and customer preferences for higher trim levels. As a result, the range is offered in Active Premium, Allure Premium, GT, GT Premium and Peugeot Sport Engineered (PSE) grades, ditching the previous Allure trim.

Styling tweaks across the range mean all models now come with black door mirrors instead of body-coloured ones, while from GT trim upwards, the front grille switches from chrome to dark chrome with a black surround. From Allure Premium trim onwards, all models come with full LED headlights as standard.

All models also come with Peugeot’s i-Cockpit interior with a configurable 12.3-inch head-up digital instrument panel and an eight-inch capacitive colour touchscreen, as well as Peugeot’s compact multi-function steering wheel. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard across all models, along with Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance and the Safety Pack which features; Advanced Automatic Emergency Braking System, Distance Alert, Speed Limit Information/Intelligent Speed Adaptation, as well as Active Lane Keeping Assistance.

Powertrains include petrols, diesels and plug-in hybrids, the latter with WLTP CO2 emissions from 29g/km CO2 and a zero-emission range of up to 39 miles, giving Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) rates from 10%.

The line-up also includes 360hp plug-in hybrid tech in the 508 Peugeot Sport Engineered high-performance models introduced to the range earlier this year. This combines an internal combustion engine with two electric motors to give four-wheel drive. It provides up to 26 miles of zero-emissions range and comes with a 12% BiK rate.

Also available in Fastback or SW bodystyles, all 508 PSE models come as standard with 20-inch two-tone diamond cut alloy wheels, Active Suspension and the Drive Assist Pack Plus which adds Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, and Lane Positioning Assist. The 508 PSE line-up also features a premium HIFI speaker system and wireless smartphone charging as well as Connected 3D Navigation and Visio Park 3 with 360-degree High Definition colour camera.
