2021 Toyota Camry gets mini makeover
Toyota is revising the Camry hybrid saloon with upgraded styling, equipment and safety features for the 2021 model year.
The updated Toyota Camry hybrid arrives in showrooms in early spring 2021
The updated model arrives in showrooms in early spring, following the 2019 relaunch of the model in the UK, and brings minor exterior changes, including a new front grille and bumper and latest-design 17 and 18-inch wheels. Changes for the interior include patterned beige or black leather upholstery on some trims and new instrument panel finishes.
Technology updates introduce a new ‘floating’ effect nine-inch multimedia display, featuring faster software and faster screen response, and including touchscreen functionality as well as smartphone integration, using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
The updated Camry also ushers in the latest Toyota Safety Sense features, adding lane trace assist with steering assistance, intelligent adaptive cruise control, emergency steering assist and intersection turn assistance.
The 218hp 2.5-litre petrol hybrid powertrain is carried over and is the same technology as found in the RAV4 and Lexus ES.
Further details of equipment grades and prices for the 2021 Camry will be announced nearer to the UK on-sale date.
