The 2020 Mitsubishi ASX is now on sale

The compact SUV, first launched in 2010, has been made over for the 2020 model year with an updated design and revised interior that features higher-grade materials and a choice of two trim levels: Dynamic and Exceed.

The previous 115hp 1.6-litre petrol introduced under the last facelift – the sole unit after diesel was axed – has been replaced with a 150hp 2.0-litre petrol engine that marks the return of both an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, both offered alongside a front-wheel drive / five-speed manual variant.

The new ASX also brings a new eight-inch touchscreen Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) system with reversing camera and DAB, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard while Exceed adds in an integrated TomTom satnav and driver assistance features such as Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Prices start from £20,295 OTR for the ASX Dynamic Manual 2WD, rising to £25,945 for the ASX Exceed Automatic 4WD.
