Simon Spremberg joins Fleet Logistics
Mr Spremberg has six years' experience in the European fleet and leasing market and has worked with a number of major organisations in a variety of different roles. These have included an international sales role at ASL Auto-Service-Leasing GmbH, before joining the newly founded Hannover Leasing Automotive GmbH in 2007 as regional sales manager.
In his new role, Mr Spremberg assists Fleet Logistics' customers in compiling, releasing and analysing tenders to select vehicle manufacturers, dealerships and leasing suppliers for their vehicle fleets.
He also handles supplier negotiations with a variety of different companies, including fuel card companies, vehicle transport and logistics companies, car rental companies and after-market suppliers, utilising Fleet Logistics' volumes to negotiate as beneficial terms for its customers as possible.
Mr Spremberg said that strong and stable supplier relationships were key to Fleet Logistics' ability to provide first-rate services to its pan-European fleet customers.
'As the leading European fleet management specialist, it is crucially important that we choose the most experienced, innovative and best-performing service providers in the market.
'My objective in this role is to establish the basis for long-lasting, trusting and efficient co-operation with our suppliers and partners, based around open communication and clearly defined processes,' he said.
Mr Spremberg reports to Vinzenz Pflanz, director of account and supply chain management at Fleet Logistics, who said: 'I worked with Simon previously at Hannover Leasing, where I regarded him as a highly reliable person who gained a lot of know-how in all areas of the fleet business. I am glad to welcome him in Fleet Logistics where we expect him to add great value to the team.'
