Peugeot has appointed Eurig Druce as its new managing director of UK operations, replacing Adam Wood who returns to Renault.

Druce has worked within the Stellantis Group since 2001, having joined Peugeot as a trainee. He will retain responsibility for B2B sales as VP for Stellantis UK and will report to Maria Grazia Davino, managing director of Stellantis UK.

Druce said: “Peugeot continues to go from strength to strength, and I am delighted to return to where I started my journey in the industry.

“With the largest range of electric vehicles in the UK market, I look forward to realising the true potential of the brand, with our dealer network.”

His appointment follows the departure of Adam Wood after 18 months as managing director at Peugeot UK and a similar stint as marketing director at Vauxhall Motors.

Wood moves to Renault as managing director for the brand in the UK and country head Renault Group UK.

It’s a homecoming for Wood, who started on the company’s graduate programme after achieving a French degree from University of Bristol, before going on to achieve a Master of Science (MSc) qualification in International Business from the University of Nottingham.

Adam Wood is now MD for Renault in the UK and country head Renault Group UK

During his previous 14 years at Renault UK, Wood worked in roles covering marketing communications, product marketing and brand management.

These include senior positions as Dacia brand director, marketing director, head of marketing communications and corporate planning manager.

As managing director of the Renault brand in the UK, Wood succeeds Guillaume Sicard, who will assume the role of VP Renault Brand for the market area France from 1 October.
