Winners of Brake’s 2022 UK Fleet Champions Awards revealed

Fleet operators and service firms including National Highways and FM Conway have taken top awards at Brake’s UK Fleet Champions Awards 2022.

The awards recognised 26 organisations and individuals for their outstanding commitment to road safety, across 11 different awards categories

More than 300 people from the fleet industry came together at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on 20 October to enjoy a celebration dinner and honour 26 organisations and individuals for their outstanding commitment to road safety, across 11 different awards categories.

The UK Fleet Champions Awards are judged by an independent team of 16 experts from the fleet industry. This year’s winners were:

Road Safety in the Community Award sponsored by Samsara

Winners: Anne-Marie Penny (National Highways) and Mark Cartwright (National Highways)

Attendees on the night also made donations to Brake’s National Road Victim Service and took part in a silent auction and raffle. Together, thousands of pounds were raised for Brake’s work campaigning for safer roads and supporting road victims.

Brake’s chief operating officer Ross Moorlock commented: “It’s always humbling to see the fleet industry come together with safety at the forefront of their minds. This was our first face-to-face fleet event in three years and a fantastic way to celebrate progress being made in road safety at work. We’re so grateful to everyone who attended and we offer massive congratulations to everyone who won or was shortlisted for an award. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.”
