Available to order now, the slimmed-down range now consists of two trim levels – Equilibre and Techno – which will be introduced across further Renault models in the future.

The entry-level Equilibre – derived from the Latin ‘aequilibrium’ which means a state of balance – comes with standard equipment including a seven-inch multimedia touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as cruise control, lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera and automatic lights and wipers. Styling details include 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, privacy glass and new gloss black door mirrors.

The Techno adds in full LED lighting with automatic high beam, blind spot warning and Active Emergency Braking System (AEBS), all as standard. It also steps up design with synthetic leather and cloth upholstery for the cabin and 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, gloss black door mirrors and roof bars for the exterior.

Just one engine is on offer – the TCe 140 petrol with either six-speed manual or seven-speed EDC automatic transmission.

The Equilibre TCe 140 is priced at £25,595 and £27,195 with the auto while the Techno TCe 140 is £27,195 and £28,795 with auto transmission.

Orders for the Kadjar Equilibre and Kadjar Techno are now open, with first customer deliveries from February 2022.
