Tech firm Digital Innk doubles fleet service network

A fleet technology firm has doubled the size of the service network available on its platform in the last six months.

Digital Innk’s network now offers 5,500 sites across the UK and Ireland

Digital Innk, whose ViSN platform connects services for drivers and fleet operators, now has a network spanning some 5,500 sites across the UK and Ireland.

The company has invested in the ViSN platform to accelerate innovation and has launched 22 new features in 2024 to help fleet companies operate more efficiently.

Angela Montacute, CEO of Digital Innk, said: “It’s been a busy start to 2024, where we’ve welcomed new fleet customers to the platform and rapidly expanded the service network. The innovations we’ve introduced are helping to cut repair times and create a better experience for drivers.

“We are working closely with fleets through our regular customer forums to ensure that we continue to deliver the efficiency gains they need today and equip them with the latest AI-driven technology.”

The ViSN platform enables real-time vehicle management and enhances compliance procedures through a comprehensive digital record system. Drivers can book services via an app or online portal. The platform locates the nearest and most suitable service centre using advanced algorithms. ViSN leverages machine learning to streamline the entire process, from authorisation to live management of vehicle downtime.

Digital Innk is advancing its ViSN platform with AI integration to increase transparency in fleet management. This enhancement also accelerates critical operations through automation, such as service, maintenance, repair (SMR), and compliance.

The ViSN platform has also gained a new capability that allows consolidated invoices to be generated, aggregating SMR transactions into a single invoice for customers. The online booking system has additionally been redesigned to increase the speed of use.

Digital Innk has moved to new offices in Birmingham at the STEAMhouse innovation campus. Birmingham City University operates the offices as a centre for collaborative innovation at the intersection of Science, Technology, Engineering and the Arts (STEAM).

Harry Heath, a fleet consultant at XO Fleet, said: “The ViSN platform helps us deliver best-in-class vehicle maintenance services to our customers and, overall, it has been a very positive experience that we recommend to all fleet operators and fleet management companies. We are eager to contribute to the development of ViSN as more customers join the platform.”
