Sixt UK has opened its new branch at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4, joining its existing branches in Terminals 2 and 5.

The new branch joins Sixt’s existing locations in T2 and T5

The new location, which opened in December 2024, marks a significant milestone in the global mobility firm’s commitment to provide customer-centric solutions and premium options.

With Sixt now the only car rental provider with locations directly inside the airport terminals, customers can skip the shuttle and head straight to their premium vehicle upon arrival.

Open from 7am to 11pm seven days a week, the new Terminal 4 branch offers access to Sixt’s fleet of premium vehicles, catering to both leisure and business travellers. Vehicles on offer include luxury saloons, spacious SUVs and eco-friendly options, all available at www.sixt.co.uk or via the Sixt app.

Sixt said the new branch highlights its ongoing efforts to redefine customer experience in the car rental market.

Andrew Smith, managing director of Sixt UK, commented: “We’re proud to be the only car rental provider offering this level of convenience at Heathrow, allowing Sixt customers to head straight to our locations and avoid taking a shuttle bus. We’re also excited to continue expanding our footprint across the UK and will soon be announcing more new openings.”

Other new branches opened in 2024 include London Park Lane, London Marylebone and Edinburgh Old Town. Looking ahead to the next 12 months, Sixt plans to accelerate its growth further, with new branches in strategic locations across the country to meet the evolving mobility needs of its customers.
