The firm offers a range of services from waste management and recycling to demolition and dismantling and in recent years has pursued a policy of reducing its carbon footprint by employing environmentally friendly principles.

As part of this ongoing campaign, Ron Hull has now replaced seven of its vehicle fleet with Volkswagen Golf BlueMotion models.

‘We were keen to buy locally, and it was crucial that our fleet demonstrate our green credentials,’ said Paul Furniss, group purchasing manager for the Ron Hull Group. ‘The move to greener vehicles marks another key milestone in the Ron Hull Group’s quest to be as energy efficient as possible.’
