Peugeot rolls out eight-year warranty across all electric cars
Peugeot has rebranded its eight-year/100,000-mile warranty for electric cars and rolled it out across the line-up.
The warranty covers the electric motor, onboard charger, transmission and all the key electrical and mechanical components
Debuted on the E-3008 at the start of 2024 under the Allure Care moniker, the coverage was expanded across the French brand’s core all-electric model range earlier this year.
Now called Peugeot Care, it’s also now available on the E-Rifter and E-Traveller people carriers. The warranty covers the electric motor, onboard charger, transmission and all the key electrical and mechanical components for up to eight years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
It complements the specific warranty that already applies to the high-voltage battery for the same duration, providing comprehensive vehicle coverage.
Peugeot Care is activated automatically and free of charge for an additional two years or 16,000 miles after each maintenance service performed within the Peugeot network.
The carmaker said the programme demonstrates its confidence in the quality and reliability of its all-electric vehicles, as well as the brand’s determination to support its customers in transitioning to more sustainable mobility.
The Peugeot Care Coverage is part of the Peugeot Electric Promise, which also includes access to a Free2Move Charge Pass, in partnership with Octopus Electroverse, which offers one-tap access to over 700,000+ public charge points across the UK and Europe.
