OZEV and Bank of England among VRA seminar keynote speakers
The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and Bank of England (BoE) are among the keynote speakers lined up for this year’s Vehicle Remarketing Association (VRA) seminar.
The VRA seminar will examine a wide range of current and new issues affecting the remarketing sector
Graeme Chaplin, the BoE’s agent for the West Midlands, will present on the UK’s economic outlook for next year, while Abdul Chowdhury, head of vehicle policy at OZEV, will look at the latest developments in the EV regulatory framework.
The overall theme of the seminar is ‘2024: The Year Ahead in Remarketing’ and it will take place on Tuesday 21 November at The Slate, Warwick University, examining a wide range of current and new issues affecting the sector.
Philip Nothard, chair at the association, said: “We’re very pleased to be able to announce this year’s seminar with two such high-profile speakers. The event has become established as one of the high points of the motor industry calendar, attracting close to 200 delegates, with an extremely high-quality selection of presentations.
“We’re in the process of finalising further speakers for the agenda, signing up sponsors, and plan to make further announcements soon. For now, it’s very much a case of asking everyone to put the date in their diary for what promises to be a highly informative and engrossing day.”
The seminar is open to all motor industry professionals who want to find out more about what is happening in the remarketing sector, with a small charge of £99 for non-members.
