Octopus Electroverse debuts payment card for fuel, charging and fleet expenses

Octopus Electroverse has launched a new Business Payments Card to help companies manage the transition to electric fleets.

The card unifies charging, fuelling and everyday fleet expenses

The card, powered by Visa, unifies charging, fuelling and everyday fleet expenses – such as food, travel and car washing – into a single platform.

This new service integrates fully with the Electroverse EV roaming network, providing businesses with end-to-end oversight of their entire fleet.

Benefits of the Electroverse Business Payments Card include full cross-fuel support, enabling spending across EV charging and traditional fuel for mixed fleets.

It also gives access to discounted charging. Through Electroverse’s partner network, businesses benefit from exclusive rates and ‘Plunge Pricing’ – described as a world-first in dynamic public charging and offering up to 45% off when renewable energy is in surplus.

Fleets also benefit from a single platform to manage driver profiles, e-fuel cards, charging insights, receipts and customised reporting.

Detailed spend reports help businesses identify where behaviours can shift to reduce costs.

It’s also available on a flexible basis with no fixed contracts. Businesses can scale or stop at any time, with flexible terms and once-monthly direct debit payments.

A spokesperson said: “By consolidating charging, fuelling and daily spending into one system, Electroverse provides the infrastructure needed for a smooth and scalable transition to electric for many more fleets to come.”
