New tech to cut fleet contract processing times by 15%

New technology that can help companies streamline the management of suppliers has launched to save fleets time and money.

The new e-contract tool enables fleets to create and authorise contracts entirely online and is said to reduce the amount of time the process takes by 15%

Developed by fleet technology firm Digital Innk, the new e-contract tool enables fleets to create and authorise contracts entirely online and is said to reduce the amount of time the process takes by 15%.

It also improves the levels of automation and accuracy while allowing fleets and suppliers to create rates, discounts, and other commercial structures within a safe online environment.

Once approved by both parties, it brings all the elements into life in real-time and ensures everyone from the service advisor within the network to maintenance controllers are receiving the correct information through the platform.

Angela Montacute, chief executive officer at Digital Innk, said: “The e-contract tool creates a new way of working that generates significant time savings and ensures important data is shared within a secure digital platform. In addition, it will reduce the number of interactions and discrepancies between fleets and suppliers to create a more efficient administrative process.”

The e-commerce tool sits within Digital Innk’s ViSN platform, which uses advanced data management and self-service technology to enable complex checks to be undertaken in minutes.

The technology platform claims it is the first time drivers have a single app to manage driver compliance checks, book a service or tyres, manage a breakdown or undertake a vehicle health inspection.

Digital Innk’s Angela Montacute also spoke to Fleet World earlier this year about the company’s work to innovate in the fleet software space. The interview is online here.
