New Enterprise car club creates low-emission transport hub

Enterprise has expanded into Amesbury, providing five new car club vehicles that are available 24/7 to enable local mobility options.

Four of the new vehicles – including a Vauxhall Astra and a Volkswagen Crafter van – are situated at the Holiday Inn in Amesbury

The vehicles include a Vauxhall Astra, Volkswagen Crafter van and hybrid Toyota Yaris and are situated at two bases.

The new vehicles are part of a broader move by Enterprise Car Club to place vehicles in locations where car rental has traditionally not been an option, creating transport hubs near railway stations, housing developments and local amenities such as hospitals.

Dan Gursel, managing director of Enterprise Car Club, said: “We are expanding Enterprise Car Club across the UK to reach communities large and small, so that people can quickly and easily pick up a low-emission and value-for-money car when that is the best choice for their trip.”

All vehicles are backed by Enterprise’s Complete Clean Pledge, which launched in May and introduces new mandates, including enhanced cleaning guidance for vehicles, shuttles and branch locations, as well as social distancing practices.
