Leasing.com, the leasing comparison website, has announced the appointment of Mike Fazal as CEO as founder Dave Timmis steps down after 25 years at the helm.

It’s a significant leadership transition for the firm, which was founded back in 2000 by Timmis as the UK’s first-ever leasing comparison site.

Timmis will step back from day-to-day operations, but will continue to be involved as founder, brand ambassador and advisor, focusing on the company’s strategic direction and long-term vision.

Mike Fazal is promoted to the CEO role after spending a year as chief operating officer. His strong background in automotive leadership roles also includes nearly three years at the Karzoom car subscription business that he co-founded for dealers and over 13 years at ASE Global, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and consulting solutions to OEMs, in various executive roles.

His appointment marks a new chapter for Leasing.com, as the company continues to expand its offerings, strengthen industry partnerships and enhance the customer experience.
