Leasing Options joins BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee
Leasing Options has returned to the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee as its latest member, supporting the committee’s work on key issues in the leasing sector.
COO Mike Thompson is representing the Leasing Options senior management team on the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee
The BVRLA represents over 970 companies engaged in vehicle rental, leasing and fleet management and works with policymakers, public sector agencies, regulators, and other key stakeholders to ensure that road transport delivers environmental, social and economic benefits to everyone.
Leasing Options had been members of the BVRLA for several years and part of its Leasing Broker Committee but said it had stepped back to allow the wider community to engage in its important work.
It’s now accepted an invitation from the current Leasing Broker Committee to return, with chief operating officer Mike Thompson representing the Leasing Options senior management team.
Thompson explained: “We’re very proud to be asked to re-join and support the broker industry by helping drive discussion and best practice through the industry. We intend to represent all members as we have small businesses within our business as ARs, as well as our main Leasing Options business. This we hope will ensure we can give a strong and balanced view and voice.
“We want to share our expert knowledge and insight to provide the right information for the BVRLA to lobby relevant government bodies and organisations to the benefit of all BVRLA members.”
Shashi Maharaj, legal and membership director of the BVRLA, welcomed the return of Mike Thompson and the business.
“Mike has a positive, creative and forward-thinking mentality aligned with great industry insight and knowledge thanks to his position at Leasing Options. We are sure with his experience dealing at a high level with funders, lease companies and manufacturers from within our industry, he can be an asset to the BVRLA and its members and move the industry forward.”
