Leasing Gorilla to drive growth plans under new sales manager

CBVC Vehicle Management’s online Leasing Gorilla portal has spearheaded its growth plans with the appointment of Charlie Beresford as sales manager.

Leasing Gorilla’s newly promoted sales manager Charlie Beresford will help drive growth plans

Launched in September 2018 to separate the CBVC Vehicle Management brand from the personal contract hire side of the business, the Staffordshire-based firm operates nationally, offering a wide range of makes and models. High demand for online-only transactions has seen it grow significantly since and move into business leasing.

The team pride themselves on offering competitive deals which includes quick delivery on a range of vehicles. Despite the industry-wide vehicle availability issues, Leasing Gorilla has reported strong year-to-date business performance.

The business is now further expanding into electric vehicles and the LCV space in line with market trends.

It’s promoted Charlie Beresford to head up the sales team and help drive its plans. Beresford has been in the automotive industry since 2011 and his background includes dealer experience, having worked for Bristol Street Motors and West Way Nissan, before joining Leasing Gorilla’s sister business, CBVC Vehicle Management in 2020.

Mike Manners, managing director at Leasing Gorilla, commented: “I’m always delighted to promote talent from within. We’re recognising the exceptional work that Charlie has done in business development for us by appointing him to this critical role. Charlie and the Leasing Gorilla team are genuinely obsessed with getting our customers the best deals in the market which, ultimately, will allow us to sustainably grow the business.”

Beresford added: “I’m really looking forward to the opportunity. My goal for the team is to think differently to provide the best possible solution for the customer – often we can come up with options they may not have even considered. I’m excited for the future and believe there is a significant opportunity for us to further expand the Leasing Gorilla business, with a focus on the LCV space.”
