It also explains the fleet manager's legal obligations and offers suggestions on the help available to best protect the driver and the organisation's interests.

Each Fleet Matters issue gives guidance on a single theme, and the information is equally useful for owned, leased or ‘grey’ fleets and results from years of experience working with fleets nationwide. Four sections each conclude with clear ‘Action Points,’ relevant to all vehicle types and to both public and private sector fleets.

Commenting on the latest release, Steve Clarke, group marketing manager, said: “Fuel Card Services is highly experienced in helping with vehicle management. We help a variety of fleets every day, working with everyone from public sector transport managers with hundreds of mixed vehicles to private sector fleets comprising just a few vans.

“We understand the issues, from legal compliance to stakeholder pressures, through talking with fleets all the time. Having built our breadth and depth of expertise over many years, we are now feeding it back to fleets.”
