Kia Rental celebrates 10th anniversary with 10% discount offer

Kia is celebrating the tenth anniversary of Kia Rental with a 10% discount across UK rentals made until the end of the year.

Vehicles are available across the Kia line-up, including the EV9 electric SUV and the Sportage

The discount is available once bookings are made as normal – users just need to quote ‘10year10%’ when collecting the rental vehicle and completing the purchase at the chosen rental location.

Kia Rental was first launched in June 2014 in a move to provide businesses and private users with fast, friendly and convenient car rental at competitive pricing directly from Kia dealerships.

Initially offered at 10 sites, it’s now available from 28 locations throughout the UK with an effective rental fleet of more than 1,400 cars, including some of Kia’s latest electric cars such as the fully electric seven-seat EV9.

And this year will see the service further expand to 30 sites, often at locations otherwise underserved by traditional car rental.

Users of the service can also access a dedicated app, introduced in October 2022 and providing a convenient booking portal with the final few steps completed at the dealership. The app automates as much of the traditional rental process as possible, ensuring quick and easy process when collecting or returning the car.

Alongside the app, Kia Rental can also be booked either online or by calling the rental location directly.

Vehicles available range from the Picanto city car to the seven-seat Sorento large SUV, and everything between.

Every Kia Rental location offers rental of at least two of Kia’s fully electric cars – providing a longer trial opportunity compared to a traditional test drive from the dealership. Should the customer go on to buy a Kia, the rental cost is refunded too.

John Hargreaves, general manager for fleet and remarketing at Kia UK, said Kia Rental has provided customers with a completely flexible solution that’s fast and convenient.

“When it was launched 10 years ago, the world was a very different place, but by moving with the times we have seen the service grow year-on-year and now help more customers transition to electric – something worth celebrating!”
